Two meters large gilt ormolu-mounted sevres-style cobalt blue-ground porcelain vases and cover, the body is further embellished with tooled gilt foliate running pattern and painted in miniatures with Watteauesque style panels depicting part of the painting "The Interrupted Sleep", circa 1750 of François Boucher, and natural landscaped to the reverse, within a richly gilt scrollwork cartouche with musical trophy, the shoulder flanked by upright gilt-ormolu acanthus-scroll handles suspending rings, with large waisted bottleneck form enriched with gilt foliate pattern surrounding a miniature of amorous couple, encircled at bottom with ormolu laurel wreaths, enlarged at top and surmounted with pierced ormolu guilloche acanthus frieze under a semi-domed lid ornamented with gilt scrollwork, and terminates with large engraved gilt-ormolu pinecone finial, raised on a conforming socle with a miniature of romantic scene as well enriched with gilt scrollwork, and cast ormolu semi-rocaille style base.
